About Zero Root

Today we released "Zero Root" as the last installment
of our "Five Treasures of War" collection of songs and
here is the story behind it...

About 6 years ago in 2006 Fardaad sent his demo to Changeez
and I and we both loved it however due to his complex story
neither of us had any idea of what we could be added to it
and so it sat in our archive for years until late 2010 when
I heard it again and told Fardaad how after nearly 5 years I
was still moved by it and wanted to continue where he left off.
Fardaad told me that Changeez had written something to it which
I hadn't heard prior to then but upon hearing their duet I was
even more inspired to continue and so my part was finished by
December 2010 and yet again it sat in our vault collecting dust.

What's interesting about this track is that what you hear is
the original first version demo as non of us ever attempted to
re-recorded our parts, in fact due to a hard-drive crash we even
lost the original beat and vocals and just had the pre-mixed demo
to master and that is exactly what you hear, our first beta version
and we hope you like it.
